Transfer Beach Park features harbour frontage and is family oriented with lots of picnic space.  There is also a beach for swimming and a play area for kids.  It also has a large Amphitheatre which hosts logger sports during Ladysmith Days and an array of other events throughout the year including the ever popular Concerts in the Park series which raises much needed funds for Ladysmith Resources Centre Association.

The venue is superb with the panoramic backdrop of the harbour, boats cruising by, grassy lawns, flowerbeds and a large seating area protected by mature maples overhead. Part of the enjoyment of attending the concerts is experiencing beautiful music in the comfort of the amphitheater's warm and scenic outdoor atmosphere.  Often, kayakers, pleasure yachts, and sail boaters will pause in their travels to listen to the concerts from water’s edge.
